WHAT IS Shishu VIHAR?

Shishu Vihar introduces toddlers to basic concepts that enable spiritual development through cultural education. Classes follow the structure of a modern play group where infants and toddlers, accompanied by their parents, learn basic concepts through songs, stories, and arts and crafts, in a manner appropriate to their age and development.

The toddlers have already demonstrated a quick ability to learn, and with their strong retention powers, even three year olds are able to chant the Hanuman Chalisa!

Swamini Supriyananda, who spearheaded the program 5 years ago, has also written a vast number of Bala Kathas that are accompanied by beautiful eye catching illustrations.

Shishu Vihar Classes are divided into two age groups:

GOPALA: 2 yrs - 3.5 yrs

KESHAVA: 3.5 yrs to 5 yrs

Sevikas: Smita B, Samyukta Ladwa
